They specified that the set should run. Railex worked their magic and the result is the Marklin 8770A set pictured here. The prototype: The 1835 Adler Steam locomotive and tender and five carriages from that era. The model: Each car in the set is individually hand-crafted in brass by Railex craftsmen. The set is powered by a carriage car containing a coreless motor. The motor is not working in this set. The set is Excellent Cosmetic condition. The motor car is not working, and one of the trim pieces (bar between wheels) is missing on one side of the motor car (Picture 4). Please review the photographs, they are part of the description. Original wood presentation case, slip cover and copy of instructions.
