This Yamaha euphonium is in very good playable condition! The lacquer is worn in many areas with some scratches throughout as it is used and also has several dings and dents. This euphonium has had a previous professional patch installed on one of the knuckles and leadpipe but nothing that affects the playability of this wonderful euphonium, please see pics for more details. The plating on the pistons is fantastic! if you’re looking for a 3 valve Yamaha euphonium that plays great at an affordable price then this Yamaha euphonium is for you!! Valves and slides move freely and the valves feel like butter!! The compression of this horn is fantastic and produces that wonderful dark mellow sound that Yamaha is famous for.
