Description: Up for sale, a vintage Yamaha YAS52 alto sax. I get the sense that this was put away several years ago and was collecting dust for some time. It is mostly straight and lacquer looks fair. Some pads look rather good and a few look rather old and crusty. I've listed this for parts/repair as I think it may benefit from shop time to make any needed repairs or adjustments prior to play. I do not see any glaring defects or missing components. Notes: I see 2 small dings at the bottom of the bell and a scuffed area of lacquer wear. There is lacquer wear around the bell ring. The back side shows wear around the strap ferrule. General looks suggest moderate play and use, it's not anywhere approaching a mint example. Lowest key guard has a ding/dent in the middle. (All of these issues are shown in pics.) Case appears original and is functional, the handle is splitting (pictured). Comes with a mouthpiece of unknown maker (which is rather dirty). US bidders/buyers only please.
