The front brim seal is separated and wants to stick out, I can push it into place with my thumb, new owner might want to super glue or leave as is. This helmet feels almost smooth to me, like there is no aggregate. Along the lower brim there what looks and feels like surface rust. Has the brim-edge seam in front, which dates it to 1941 to 1943, true WWII vintage. After late 1943 the seams were produced in the rear brim of the helmets.Has swivel bails. Have more M1 helmets for sale (different). Have a lot of military items for sale.
