Description: Excellent Pegmatite specimen of Anorthoclase Feldspar var. "Moonstone" and minor Arfvesdonite. Solid, good sized piece that shows the classic blue schiller at various areas at various angles. It is from the Stettin Pluton and part of a Pegmatite that is the only source for the this Wisconsin Moonstone and is only found in a 4 square mile area (all on private property. Fluoresces a cherry red under short wave UV light (not pictured).
