Description: Magnificently embroidered in silk floral design. Flowers artfully executed in shades of wine, raspberry pink, dark blue, lighter blue, orange, sun yellow, green. This wonderful, brilliantly floral embroidered top with matching skirt has been in my family for over 50 years.Worn only a few times during local Fiesta celebrations, the outfit is in terrific condition.The flowers are on a black mesh material. The top, bust to waist, is done in what appears to be black raw silk. There is a braided band uppermost on the top, also embroidered, to add a bit of structure. The skirt is black mesh w/ embroidered flowers and, beneath, contains a full-length lining/skirt made of raspberry pink satin. Constructed so as to fit various sizes, the skirt waist at present has hook & eye closure but was made to be cinched---with pink satin ties.
