Description: The item is sold as is, as found and as you see it. The pottery is a large and very heavy piece. The vase has a very small opening, flared out top, narrows in neeck, goes out into a bulbous, almost cylindrical form. The vase is hand made. It has a horizontal ringed body that you can see. White background, redd ish clay on underside. Stylized painted women and bordered decoration with black, brown and yellow. Flaws in pottery, lumps bumps spots and dots. A fire crack circle on underside; probably made that way. On top of opening of rim, a small nick in the pottery. Could be a flaw or flea bite; not sure. Body will have bubble holes and pinholes; made that way. Glaze painting flaws from being hand painted. There are two impressed hallmarks near bottom of base; cannot identify them. The shipping will reflect the extreme solid weight of piece. Measures 16.75" X 6" X 2 1/8" top rim.
