Description: VTG 1960s Pearl Wick Leg Lounger Mid Century Adjustable Footstool Ottoman - VGUC Beyond mid century modern, retro, Eames era, Mad Men style, adjustable ottoman or foot stool. This Footstool was made by Pearl Wick Mfg. Co, Long Island City, New York, USA. This is their patented Leg Lounger which adjusts the angle so you can put it up against your chair or sofa and rest your legs on it.. not just your feet. Original paper labels and assembly instructions are on the bottom. It stands 11" tall x 20" across x 15" deep. You have your choice of two positions. Extremely cool geometric punched pattern on the vinyl cover. The vinyl is in very good condition for its age. On the underside, there are a couple of spots where the staples have pulled through. The corners, which are typically damaged or have a lot of wear, are perfect! The stool originally had gold over chrome legs. The gold is wearing off with some tarnishing. The chrome legs and base could use a good cleaning The best thing for that is WD-40 on some fine grain steel wool.
