This was my personal test set to use at home for testing equipment, but I have several units and need to let it go. I have gone through the receiver and took the keypad off and reinforced some surface cracks that were developing with plastic welding pins and epoxy inside the unit to reinforce, as well as took the receiver apart and reinforced the bottom bolts on this unit, which will break if not supported when you tighten down the bolts to the case. It now is stronger than new. I also used some UV epoxy on the handle of the receiver. I included a charger for the receiver and a battery that is still in great shape, these Vivax batteries are amazing for the life expectancy and how long they work in the units using every day, You might get a week or two using it all the time before you need to charge. I also threw in a alkaline charge tray. Transmitter has the alkaline tray, with new batteries, the pics show the old set in it which failed my test so they have new Duracell in them. I have a older 10 watt transmitter with a spare battery tray and the rechargeable battery if you might be interested in it also, but for the weight and general use this 5 watt works just fine and its much lighter than the older 10, watt, which I am very fond of after many years of use in the field with them. Comes with a bag, leads and holder and ground rod also from Vivax. It is ready to go out the gate for all your locating needs. This set will allow you to pick up with the receiver all the other brand frequencies(that's why I used it for testing) which is a plus if you have other brands. Personally after 13 plus years using Vivax primarily I am sold by them. One of the best sets hands down out of all of them and the receiver is very durable.
