Vintage Timex 2277 2570 Skin Diver Men's Mechanical Watch Rare

Description: This vintage Timex reference: 2277 2570 Skin Diver men's mechanical watch is a rare find for any watch enthusiast. These vintage timex skin divers are underappreciated and radiate with vintage military ooze. To find these in good condition is getting harder and harder. Typically these old timex skin divers show missing lume or are missing the timing bezel. This example is in amazing original vintage condition for its age. The stainless steel case is in good condition with no major dents or corrosion. The caseback is snapon. Comes with the original crown, diver countdown bezel, and acrylic crystal. The countdown Bezel insert shows some slight fading and has turned a grayish color from its original black. The bezel does not turn on this watch. The acrylic crystal shows several minor scratches, but does not obstruct the view of the dial. The black dial is in great condition with no major signs of damage and shows a small dot of tritum paint under the X in Timex. The beautiful sharktooth hour markers, arabic numerals, and hands contain tritium lume that has evenly aged to a creamy yellow and still glows strong under UV. No cracking or misisng paint. The arrow shaped hands have a beautiful gilt outline to them. The watch contains a date window at 3 and is handwind mechanical timex movement. The watch needs to be wound several times before the second hand starts in these old vintage timexs. The watch is running strong and keeping time with no known service history. This watch wear beautifully and has so much vintage diver charm. Truly a hidden gem. These don't come up very often and are a rare find, jump while you can!
