Description: DETAILS: Vintage Tiffany14K unusually heavy yellow gold link choker chain necklace. Our best guess is that this dates to around the 1950s and 1970s, but we are not certain. This necklace comes with a later preowned Tiffany & Co display pouch and box (which are not original to the necklace). The total weight is 2.760 troy ounces or 85.8 grams. This particular piece was purchased from the estate of a 96-year-old long time Houston resident along with other vintage Tiffany jewelry. MARK/SIGNATURE: The clasp is marked 14k on the loop at the top of the clasp, and one link is marked TIFFANY with hand engraved block letters. Another nearby link has a hand scratched number Z174. CONDITION: In very good vintage preowned condition free from damages, deep scratches and dents, and excessive wear. The surface of the gold may show typical and expected faint wear. However, it is possible that the clasp has been replaced at some point in the past, which wouldn't be unusual if the original clasp broke. The non-original Tiffany box is in good preowned condition.
