Description: Vintage Sterling Silver Florida Souvenir Spoon I am pleased to offer this vintage sterling silver Florida souvenir spoon, with embossed design and lettering.ON THE FRONT: At the top of the spoon is an American eagle, beneath which is the wording FLORIDA. Below that is the embossed image of a person standing before a body of water in which a ship is sailing, with the sun and a palm tree in the distance. IN GOD WE TRUST is embossed below that, with filigree embossing completing the decorative part of the spoon. ON THE REVERSE SIDE: The back view of an eagle is at the top, below which appears U.S.A. and a stars-and-stripes shield. Additional filagree design is beneath the shield. TEXT READS: Pat. Feb. 23, 1915 and the spoon is signed: Wm Rogers & Son AA.I am displaying the spoon with at least two different color backgrounds, because often, one color may reflect light differently and help to bring out the details. I have not touched up the color; what you see is the result of the lighting in my room. I show the front and back of the spoon, as well as close-ups of special features.
