Description: This vintage jewelry box was made in Sorrento, Italy. These talented artisans actually cut pieces of various types of woods and inlays them into a pattern and then coats them in a heavy laquer. This whole music box is made of wood and then stained a soft sage green, the inside is pink velvet. When you open the cover it plays a song which I believe to be "Evergreen." Close the cover and the music stops. This jewelry box is 8" long, 5" wide and 3" high. A useful piece of art anyone would love. The last picture shows a slight white mark which is the only flaw I could see.
