Description: Vintage Red Wing Gypsy Trail "Reed" nesting mixing bowl #8 made in the 1930's. It is a heavy, rustic, primitive fluted farmhouse bowl done in a bold cobalt blue glaze. There is a slight unevenness to the top rim which is typical of primitive pieces adding to its character. It measures approximately: 8” in diameter, 3 3/4” tall. It has a capacity of approximately 1 1/2 quarts. It is in good vintage condition with no visible chips or cracks. It does, however, have several tiny glaze pops typical of primitive pieces from the period. It has some faint scratches on the interior bottom as well. (See photos).
