Description: 2 Vintage New Old Stock model airplane kits for Ercoupe fans! Comet Ercoupe 24" wing span flying balsa wood scale kit #3407, unassembled in an open box. The kit contains plans, celluloid windscreen, fuselage parts, wheels, propeller, thrust button, rudders, stabilizer, and tissue. The kit appears to be missing landing gear wire and wing parts. The plans show the curved wing tip pieces and the wings ribs, so could be recreated easily enough. The plans are in very good condition with some discoloration from age. The box is in very good condition with bright colors and slight storage wear. Eagle Model Aircraft Company Ercoupe 40" wing span 4 way flight (tethered, rubber power, control line, class A gas motor) unassembled kit in an open box. The kit contains plans, tissue, music wire, wheels, balsa blocks, and print wood for wing ribs, fuselage formers, and wing and tail curved outlines. The top edge of 1 of the 2 required sheet 4 of 5 is slightly damaged. The kit is missing 1 of the 2 required sheet 3 of 5, but all parts can be duplicated from the existing sheet. The kit is missing almost all stripe wood, most balsa sheet planking and celluloid windsheet. The plans are not clear about wether this kit initially included all hardware for all 4 configurations (propeller thrust button, firewall, bellcrank, control surface hinges, etc. The plans are in very good condition with slight discoloration from age. The box has storage wear and shows tape use. The corners of the outer box are torn and the inner box are not torn. Both kits have everything needed for an experienced modeller to reproduce any missing parts in order to build each kit. Please see pictures for details, as they are part of the description.
