Description: This E.P. Dutton and Co published Noah Brooks "Our Baseball Club" is presumably the first book devoted entirely to baseball. This is also a presumed 1884 first edition in excellent condition. Its major flaw for those who do not like any writing in their books is the inscription stating that the book is a Christmas gift given in 1889. The hinges are strong, all the appropriate beginning pages are free from damage. I see no other writing or ink in the book. There is slight fraying to the top and bottom of the spin, and corner wear on the front and back covers, but it has good vibrant color, and it is heavy; a solid book.
