Pulls out easily by the leaf, but the small brown stem next to it is inside the apple, as it broke off. Measures 2 1/4" tall (top of leaf) x 1 3/4" in diameter (at widest point). Still very functional and decorative. Tape can measure up to 36". See pictures 1 - 2 for details.Troy Boiler Works brown marbled plastic Tape Measure (not Bakelite). Measures 2" x 2" x 3/4".
