Description: Vintage Leedy & Ludwig Snare 1950s Marching Parade Snare 14 x 10 I believe this drum is a Leedy & Ludwig Regimental Parade Snare Drum - Model 3191 - 10” x 14” with Wood Hoops - Based off the stamping inside the drum, I believe this was manufactured March 1952. The drum features the well-loved Imperial Lugs what appears to be the Pioneer Snare Strainer. I have uploaded as many photos as possible, but have additional photos that can be sent upon request. As you can see in the photos, the bottom wood hoop has come apart, as if delaminated or similar. The top wood hoop appears it may also soon come apart like the bottom hoop. Obviously these can be repaired or replaced, but these appear to be original. The snare strainer is functional and can move to both engaged and unengaged position, but requires a bit of gentle guidance to move from one position to the other. This drum can be left as a statement piece in the current condition, or restored to functional condition for use! Being sold as-is.
