Description: Vintage Lafayette Stereo Speakers. Model SY-384WX. with SK-58W Speaker Drivers. Sold and Shipped individually. 1960’s vintage. These vintage speakers are somewhat cabinet modified. Grille cloth had been replaced and front emblems are missing. Wood finished with poly on 3 sides. Bottoms are original. These cabinets have some dings and dents. The back panel screws are not original. They had been replaced by drywall screws. Also the attenuator knobs are missing. Emblems and labels missing as shown . See pictures. The cabinets are particle board with walnut veneer The drivers are original except for one has a replacement original tweeter professionally installed. Ships in 2 separate boxes. These speakers are in good working condition. The drivers have suede leather surround suspending the woofer cones. See pictures. The drivers are manufactured in Japan The finish has not been modified on the drivers. All factory original. Weight is approximately 50 lbs each.
