Description: Here is a striking modern pattern on a background of smooth glossy white by Homer Laughlin. This luncheon plate has two large blue blossoms and green leaves appearing as if applied by sponge dabbing. I've never seen another like it and have spent hours unsuccessfully searching for the pattern name. The little plate is a unique beauty! It measures 7.25" in diameter with 3/4" high sides and weighs 9 ounces. Condition is good with no crazing but has utensil marks and an area of teeny underrim nicks, see last photo, that aren't visible but can be felt by running a fingernail. The backstamp is smeared but it looks to be "Homer Laughlin, Made in USA, 1972". Thanks for looking.
