This cookbook, 39 pages in length, contains great old advertisements--from harness manufacturer A. B. Baker to the Palace Feed Barn for horses! Recipes range from egg lemonade and Gypsy stew to mustard sauce and velvet sponge cake. This cook book is clean and intact, exhibiting wear and creasing from handling and storage over many years. Part of Page 15-16 is torn away, and there are some pencil marks next to favorite recipes of the original owner. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Grand Ledge resident, Eaton County historian, or vintage cook book collector in your life!
