It measures 9 high and the base measures 5 3/4" by 5 3/4". It is marked on the bottom with, "Florence Ceramics" (see the additional photos). Florence Ceramics was started in 1939 by Florence Ward, and the company was moved to Pasadena, California in 1948. This piece is marked on the bottom with the makers mark-and shows as Pasadena CA in the mark-so it would have been made post 1948. The company closed in 1964. C04b
