Description: Elba Swiss WWI military trench watch in unmarked sterling silver case. Watch houses a six jewel (2 adjustments) movement from what appears to be Manzoni Arogno (also unmarked). Watch does run a little when wound but gets stuck. Needs to be serviced. Sold as is. The watch is housed in a case with a hinged back. Unlike other watches of this era, the watch sports a metal rather than enamel dial. Dial has some loss of finish. Watch lume appears intact. Not much is found regarding the Elba Watch Co. Only one record indicating that it liquidated in May 1933.
