Description: Vintage Parker Brothers PIT game with original box and instructions. Undated but certainly vintage and an early edition at that; instruction booklet is stamped "Edition No. 27" at the top front but it is unclear the date that this would have been. This appears to be produced prior to the introduction of Bull and Bear cards; game is trademarked at this time but box reads "Patent Pending". Set has 8 types of commodities and 9 cards to each set (complete). Good overall condition - box is fully intact with some wear to surfaces and edges but no tears to sides. Original instruction booklet is in very good condition for age, bright white; has a perforation in the very middle from the folds. Cards are good overall - some have some discoloration and wear from age and use as shown.
