This is a simple procedure requiring only a screwdriver, cotton swabs, and alcohol. These are a good compromise between the highly coveted mechanical "clicky" keyboards and modern ones that have the ergonomic feel of a typing on a slab. ;-) Minor damage to cable jacket, covered and of no consequence except appearance.
