Description: Purchased from an estate sale this Vintage DeKalb Corn Advertising Corn Weathervane Fence Post Sign. The sign itself measures: 18” X 8 1/2”. The entire weathervane measures 21 1/2” tall. This weathervane is made to drive in the side of a fence post. The piece has a wonderful vintage patina and shows normal usage wear, such as paint loss, rust, and paint loss. Was told at the auction that this is the original Signs because between the E and the K there is a space. When DE KALB first came out that’s the way they worded. as you can see this is not in perfect condition. But for the age, it’s still a nice display piece.
