Vintage Ampro Model A8 8mm Film Projector - Working

Description: A fantastic find, this Ampro 8mm silent film projector was really taken care of by its previous owner. It also comes with the outer hard case, Instruction book 1st edition 1946, power cord, take up reel, a bottle nearly full of Ampro lubricating oil and a customer record stub from I'm guessing the registration card. I have had this in my camera/photography collection for a while and before taking the photos I set it up and checked all the following things. The projector powers on, the projection lamp is good. It runs as it is suppose to, although I don't have any 8mm movie film to run though the projector I have in the past and it runs fine. A few of my photos show it with the projection lamp on and projecting on my back drop or a view from the front. This is a heavy item, even the carry case is hefty, made of wood and covered with a leatherette covering. The projector cosmetically is beautiful with a crinkle finish to its surface. A few small chips in the finish around the base. The electric power cord has some cracks in the outer covering. It obviously ran the projector fine for testing, but I would repair before extended long time use. The carry handle on the case is secure, with the handle having a metal inner core, but the leather covering has some tears near each end of the handle. This projector makes a great show piece for a collection, vintage or themed décor. Measurements are just under 14 inches tall not including the reel, 9 1/2 inches front to back, and 7 inches side to side. I gladly answer any questions on my items. Thank you for looking.
