Description: Vintage 1982 Epiphone Gibson Spirit USA Electric Guitar. The Spirit was a short lived Epiphone model that Gibson produced in their Kalamazoo Michigan factory. They are every bit as food as a Gibson from the era only they say Epiphone on the headstock. Sales were poor and they actually removed the Epiphone long and painted Gibson on a bunch of them and continued to sell these as the Gibson Spirit for a couple years. This one plays and sounds absolutely fantastic! The original Gibson Tim Shaw humbuckers are fantastic. This one has a Rockinger bridge. finish on the back of the neck is worn off but feels and plays super smooth! Overall, a super cool vintage Gibson!
