This is the read head of your VingCard Classic guest room lock. This is the Vingcard 2100 Reader module with a grey tape with one red wire for lockset use and is also the same reader that is used in outside remote readers. Make sure if you are buying to replace existing readers that you have the same type, again this reader has a grey tape with a red wire and 2 blue wires and a white plug and uses a small Red 9 pin connector. Should you experience a " facility code error" when programming let us know and we can send you easy instruction to resolve.The module sits snugly inside the interior of your lock and easily connects to a 9V battery cartridge with the battery wire included.
