The basic steps are to mix in a bottle 50% apple juice and 50% apple cider vinegar in a bottle, add a few slices of fresh, washed apples, then add your purchased culture and in no time you will have millions of vinegar eels ready for harvest. An initial culture will last you months, and if you remember to add a few more apple slices you can keep it going for years!
