Description: In the tradition of SOG, Randal, Dustar, Joker,etc., here is an old Vietnam era style combat bowie. This one has a stacked leather handle and is ground with a diamond cross-section for a lighter blade but with good strength and rigidity. This is a real fighter! These knives are made for hard use. I make the blades the handles and the sheaths myself. They are not stainless. They are carbon steel and thus, will stain and need to be oiled and maintained. However, they will hold an edge better than most types of stainless steel. I make the blades one or two at a time, differentially harden, hand-grind and carefully temper them. This knife, like all my knives, comes with a cowhide sheath that is stitched by hand with a true saddle stitch. These are old-school, tough-as-nails knives. No frills, no nonsense.
