Description: This uniquely handcrafted inlaid wood dresser box is a testament to the skill of the old French eboniste. It features walnut and burl wood offset with strips of other woods. The top center is walnut laid down so as to make a star pattern of the grain. The front, sides and back feature scalloped insets reminiscent of a stage. The key is original and works in the French way. The inside is finished wood and a red velvet bottom. Condition is excellent with just some very minor signs of age. Measurements are: 8 1/8 " by 6" and 2 3/4" tall.
