“TRILLIUM” by ROYAL ALBERT Bone China Teacup & Saucer made in England

Description: This is a lovely bone china tea cup and saucer set by ROYAL ALBERT of England, decorated with white trillium, and named TRILLIUM. The inside of the cup even has a sprig of trillium leaves before the bloom. The cup shape is named Montrose and is faintly scalloped on the edges while the saucer has a more pronounced scallop. All edged in shiny gold! Made in England! The best! There is also gold on the handle and the cup’s foot is trimmed in gold also. This pattern is named Trillium and was made from 1975-1997, according to royalalbertpatterns.com. This flower became the flower of the province of Ontario, Canada in 1937, and Trillium bloom in late April and into May in the woods of Ontario. The cup holds 6 ounces (3/4 cup) and is 3 & 1/2 inches in diameter, and is 2 & 3/4 inches tall. The saucer is 5 & 1/2 inches in diameter. This set is in excellent shape and I see no cracks, stains, or crazing. There is a little rub wear to the gold. Please zoom in on the pictures and see the 360 degree video for a closer look.
