Description: Extremely scarce true First Edition First State copy of this classic. Most notable indication is the lack of month (July for second state) on the copyright page, with this copy correctly having just "Copyright 1904 by L. Frank Baum". All color plates present. Impressively, there are no markings on the book whatsoever. Some minor tears to bottom of frontispiece and dedication page. Front hinge cracked. Some minor fraying to spine and corners and mild bumping to corners. Overall a good+ to very good- copy, especially considering that it is clean and unmarked. All illustrations, inside covers, spine labels, etc. Are correct for this first state analysis. Don't be afraid to contact me if you would like a picture of a certain page, illustration, or other part of the book. Excellent addition to any collection given this series' historical significance and continued relevance. Let me know if you have any questions or if you desire more photos. Thank you. Package will be insured free of charge.
