Tan calf leather bound cover with gilt spine and, mottled boards is worn at the extremities with tiny chip to, headcap but in good+ condition. Boards and spine are straight., Binding is tight. Two antiquated book plates affixed to front, paste down. One belonging to J. W. (John Wedderburn) Dunbar, Moodie [1797-1869], a Scottish born Canadian Army officer. The, other bookplate belonging to William Stevenson. Pages are, lightly toned with modest foxing but in very good condition., Copper plate engraved folding plate/map has a 3" tear that has, been neatly repaired on the back with transparent acid-free, paper mending tape.
