For over half a century, Frank Bresse hosted of The Golden Days Of Radio! The program was enjoyed for well over two decades by our US Troops overseas, via the United States Armed Forces Radio Network. Virtually every big name in Hollywood, both on Network Radio and in the Motion Pictures industry, made a special appearance on one or more of Frank's weekly shows! As a young child, Bresse began appearing as "Little Beaver" on the Red Ryder radio program and that same year played Alvin on the Major Hoople program. When he wasn't acting, Bresse retrieved transcription discs that radio stations discarded. He also collected radio scripts after attending many radio broadcasts. His tape archives of 3,900 reels resides at the Thousand Oaks Library in Southern California and serves as a valuable historical resource for lovers of old-time radio shows. Whether you are a seasoned fan of old-time radio or just discovering this treasure, this is a MUST HAVE! The Golden Days of Radio was selected from our collection of more than 99,000 old-time radio shows and more than 4,000 hours of audiobooks available in our eBay Store on a USB hard drive for only $109.95.
