Passed the highest level of Dhamma studies in 1960. After that, he turned to practicing Vipassana meditation all the time. He started to go on pilgrimage to various places, both deep in the forest and in caves throughout the Northeast. He met a monk and became his disciple before returning to reside at Wat Phutthamongkhon, which was originally an old temple cemetery.
