Description: Plethora of Information for the Stereo Photographer Stereogram 1997-2023 - CD w/26 Years of Stereo Photography Information Offered for sale here is a CD containing 262 stereo photography newsletters in PDF files (about 8 pages each, total of over 2000 pages). The snapshots show some selected pages. The complete Table of Contents in at the bottom. I guarantee that you will spend many hours studying the contents of this CD. Some of the areas that I have covered extensively: Stereo Realist, Stereo Composition, Stereo slide mounting, Hyperstereos, Macro & Close-Up stereo, Flash in Stereo, Single camera stereo, twin camera stereo, and many others. From the introduction to the CD: Greetings, fellow stereo enthusiast! May 2017 marked 20 years for our stereo club, the Ohio Stereo Photographic Society. Our first meeting was May 6th 1997, and this was soon followed by the first newsletter. I was serving as the Editor and wrote this in the first issue:“I have called this newsletter Stereogram, from the Greek words στερεό (solid, three-dimensional), and γράμμα (letter, as in telegram, etc.) So, this is a letter about stereo photography. […] The newsletter should summarize and highlight the activities during the last meeting, present news and information of interest to the club, and give details about the following meeting, motivating the club members to attend. I see the newsletter as a source of information and entertainment, something to look forward to, something that partially justifies the cost of the membership.” As of this day, I am still the Editor of the Stereogram, having published a total of 162 issues, somewhere around 1600 pages. Every newsletter usually has information about the previous meeting, competition results and award-winning images, President’s message and local 3D news and information. In addition, there is usually a Tutorial. In the Table of Contents that follows I am listing the major articles, usually the Tutorial, meeting reviews (NSA, PSA, 3D Weekend) and interviews with club members or other stereo personalities. One thing to note: During the first two years I was using an earlier version of Microsoft Publisher and I was not creating PDF files. I printed a copy on my printer and then had this copy photocopied and distributed. When I switched to later version of Publisher, some formatting changed, and, as a result, there are some issues, like text being cut off. I tried to fix some of these, but there are still issues here and there. Also, in some cases I cut and pasted a figure so you might see some empty spaces. Finally, I could not find 4 early issues so I had to scan these to PDF files. As a result, these issues are not searchable. (These are marked with red in the Table of Contents.) I hope that you enjoy this collection of newsletters. For our club members, in addition to being a source of information about stereo photography, they are also a source of the history of our club. If you enjoy the newsletters, consider subscribing. For only $10 you will receive 10 issues in one year.Thank you for purchasing this CD and best wishes for success in your pursuit of stereo photography!
