Description: Stanley No.8 Jointer Plane Type 6A Circa 1891-1892. Blade is the correct type and it is sharp. The plane cuts nice long curls. Has 60% Japaning. Rosewood tote has a minor chip on the horn and the knob has a hair line-crack (both visible in photos). No pitting, cracks, or owner's marks on the castings. The sole is flat and smooth and the mouth is perfect. Overall a nice and functional plane.
