Specialized S-works Tarmac SL7 L39ion of Los Angeles 59cm

Description: Hi everyone- Thought i'd keep this bike forever when i retired from racing but turns out i don't have much desire to ride racey road bikes anymore. There's really too much to say about this bike but baring the newer SL8 i firmly believe this is the best road bike ever made. Custom L39ion of Los Angeles paint job done directly by Specialized for the team. Custom 59cm frame with different geometry and carbon layup only available to pro tean riders which at the time would have been L39ion, Quick Step and SD Worx. The frame has been wrapped since I retired and the paint job is in amazing shape. Bike has been setup as my dream build using the existing Sram Red shifters, crankset and rear derailleur with a very lightly used gold Garbaruk drivetrain to run a 10-50 rear cassette and 44t front chainring. Shifts great with the Garbaruk cage but there is some engagement issues sprinting in the 10 that i think would be solved with a new chain. Hope rx4+ brakes and Hope 160mm vented rotors, if you've never tried these you'll be amazed with the step up in performance from Red or Dura Ace, they could use a bleed. Bars have been changed from the integrated specialized setup to carbon zipp sl 110mm stem and 40c standard drop bars in an effort to make the bike slightly more comfortable. As you can see the steerer has been cut and the front end is quite low. I rode a saddle height of 79cm and the position is ok but i'd really recommend the bike to someone looking to run 70-75cms for a more comfortable fit. Silca Ti bottle cages with Gold ti bolts for good measure. Zipp 303s tubeless wheels that have had the hubs rebuilt a couple hundred miles ago.
