Description: Seneca Improved 8x10 field camera with red leather bellows, 3 film holders, 3 extra lens boards and extension beds. The wood (Mahogany with a Cherry base) and brass are in good shape but it needs a new bellows. This one is full of holes.Like all of these cameras the back comes off and can be mounted in horizontal or vertical position. The controls and locks all seem to be in good shape and not stripped. It takes a 4 3/4" X 4 3/4" square lens board which could easily fabbed up if one was not available. The brass strips under the lens board have been soldered up at some point which can be seen in the photos. The film holders, 2 Kodak (black) and 1 unmarked (natural wood) are in good shape. The hinges on the Kodaks are in good shape and they have metal divider and slides. They feel like they have good slide seals. The other holder is of an older style with all wood construction and wood slides. They all appear to be in usable shape.
