Description: This sleek, modern looking ring has a wide silvertone band, accented with a single pointed top chaton (presumably glass, or Swarovski crystal). The chaton has a metallic color similar to hematite. The ring is a size 7 1/2, measuring 7/16" wide in front and tapering just slightly toward the back. The chaton is 3/8" in diameter. The design of this ring, which is signed "SARAH" inside the band, is called "Jet Set." It was part of a collection of 16 rings Sarah Coventry put out in 1976 called the SC Bicentennial Collection. Initially the 16 rings were sold together, but eventually were available to purchase individually.Condition is excellent with no issues to note other than a couple of stray scratches on the band toward the back."Jet Set" is featured on pages 12, 86, and 152 of Sturdivant and Crabtree's book, Identifying Sarah Coventry Jewelry 1949-2009.
