RETRO Mid Century Modern MCM Marktleuthen Bavaria WINTERLING Coffee or Tea Set

Description: I am selling my wonderful Winterling Mid Century design coffee or tea set. The pattern is of one I could not find any other examples. I bought this at an estate sale, and put it away and never used it. This fabulous set is a bright white porcelain ground with a slight ribbing to it except the center of the designs. If you run your fingers over it, you can feel the ribbing, which an almost very pale grey look to the depressed part of the ribbing. The pattern is a medallion in orange, red and yellow colors (see photos). So very 1960s or 1970's looking, and it would be great if you have one of those fabulous Mid Century homes! Just view the photos! The set includes a covered coffee/tea pot that is 8 1/8 inches tall without the lid. There is a covered sugar bowl, and a creamer, a set of six 7 7/8 inch luncheon or dessert plates, and six cups that measure 2.5 inches tall by 3.75 inches at the mouth/rim. The sugar bowl lid has a slot for your spoon. These are in perfect condition, and a truly wonderful set! I have reached the age where it has become apparent that I should be downsizing in earnest, and allow others to enjoy my treasures which have been stored in the 17 foot long and 3 foot 8 inch tall built in cabinets in the family room of my 1959 ranch house.
