These rifles were made for very short amount of time in the late 1950's to 1962 when production started on the now famous Remington 700. This stock will fit all three of the long action calibers made in model 725, 30-06, 270 Win and 280 Rem. This will make a great replacement for your collectable rifle that has been altered or cut off for recoil pad additions, which was common back in those days or to upgrade to near new condition your stock due to extreme use or damage.
