Description: Collectible and hard to find Peoria for railway service 15 jewel adjusted antique railroad pocket watch. Movement has been recently serviced and runs good and seems to keep good time but I have not checked it over a long period . Watch is a very high grade movement with nice Damaskeening and lettering and a micrometer regulator. Movement does have some hard to see scratches on the plates. a very collectible railroad marked antique pocket watch with the original Peoria for railway service dial. Dial is very nice looking but does have a small chip. Case is a Gold Filled heavy 18 size antique pocket watch case and is in good working condition and has no brass showing except a little bit on the bow. A nice good working case. Watch winds and sets correctly and is lever set. Serial number 18517. Watch is circa 1885. A very early railroad pocket watch with a low serial number in good running condition.
