Description: This quaker oats tin is NEW IN ORIGINAL BOX it was mailed in. these were from when you bought oatmeal in boxes there were points on box depending on the size of the box how many points.you got. you cut out the points label when box was empty. they advertized the metal tin on the box and the price was cheaper the more points you had. there were 2 different tins to choose from. i am listing both styles. each tin has a recipe on back of tin and 4 receipe cards inside for other things that use oatmeal. 7 '' TALL AND 4 1/4'' DIAMETER. i had a large family and we had oatmeal every morning in the winter time. i got tins for each child and never used them as i knew they would be collectible when they got older,they have been in my attic all these years and now my children have no interest in them. great as collectibles or to use for cookies, small items or your oatmeal. pictures are the description .i describe best i can and sell as is. thank you for looking. i will combine shipping if you buy more than 1 at the same time
