Description: Grain Size: 5 - 9+ mm Kiryuzuna, or Kiryu for short, is a clean earthy material that provides excellent drainage with its gritty texture. It's a mineral rich medium that doesn't break down easily during waterings. This is a top choice to use on pines and other high drainage evergreens. The soil has already been pre-sifted and pre-screened to remove fine dust. It can be used on its own or mixed with other bonsai soils for a good drainage boost.
