Description: This is an original German Weimar Republic Honor Cross of the World War medal, also known as the Hindenburg Cross or the German WW1 Service Cross. The colors of the ribbon are quite faded, suggesting it was probably displayed in a well lit area for a long time. However, both the pendant and the ribbon are original and authentic. The rear of the pendant is hallmarked HKM, and measures 36mm to each side. A fine example for display, particularly if you admire original items with some degree of character.
