Description: Found in Kurland Found in a barn of a farm in Kurland, these mess-kits were donated a s humanitarian aid to newborn Latvian Army in 1990's when Sweden still had infinite storage of the stuff they have prepared for war with USSR. Very nice, indestructible stainless steel mess-kit, called among bushcraft enthusiasts - "Mercedes-Benz of mess kits". It has a hook for easy attachment to the pole hanging over fire, loops on the top part (pan) for attachment of extra wooden handle made from some branch. Additionally can be bought special alcohol stove which comes with this mess kit, plenty of them on ebay, but real bushcraft enthusiasts don't choose the easy ways. The mess-kit lightly used, some small damages should be expected after so many years in use by two armies. Clean before use. Scroll down to see better photos.
