Onkyo Cs315

Description: This little Onkyo has good clean sound. Sound shreaybwith the speakers it come, but definitely better with the jamos I pictured for comparison. (jamos not included) The receiver/cd player has a model # CS-315 but the sticker on it has it listed as CS-415. That is due to the combo this unite was sold as. The difference is this combo, CS415 included the piano black speakers as an upgrade. Hence the 415 model sticker. Anyway, the unit works perfectly fine. Cd player plays disk without skipping, fm/am radio works just fine as long as you provide an antenna. The aux works great if you would like to hook up a turntable of course you would have to provide an external phono amp, then from there to the aux input. The only negative thing I can say is cosmetically it has a few flaws. 1. The right-side corner has a decent dent. It bent the front fascia but not issues mechanically. Please see the pictures. And of course, this is a used item so it will have little dings and scratches here and there. Again, reference the pictures. Quality of sound: I've been using the line out to run a Bluetooth receiver and have been listening to Spotify. The addition of a subwoofer was very much welcomed as I did have it in and the system sounded excellent for what it is. I can't stress enough the difference a better pair of speakers makes. This is a low-watt unit, so don't expect to rock the block… its called a microsystem for a reason. That is all folks! This is being sold as FINAL SALE! No cool-off period or auditions.
